Spiritual Formation At Covenant it is our desire to supply a well-organized and loving environment where students feel safe and recognize their worth in the sight of God . We hope to accomplish this through weekly chapel services, daily bible classes, a middle and high school retreat, and provide other opportunities for students to serve their community.
Chapel Each week Covenant holds two elementary chapel service and a middle and high school chapel service. These services set the tone of spiritual formation on our campus through worship in music and teaching from our chaplain, staff members, students and guest speakers. Throughout the year there are special occasions, such as Christmas and Easter services, where the entire student body comes together to worship in chapel.
Daily Bible Classes Daily Bible classes teach the basic doctrines of God’s Word while maintaining respect for the viewpoints of the different Christian denominations. Bible is the most important subject taught at Covenant. Salvation and spiritual growth are goals of each class.
Cougar Generation GenerationCougar Service Club is an opportunity for students to serve our school, local & global community in a fun and exciting way! You will gain experience in various ways such as organizing food drives for local food pantries, assembling baskets for our local women’s shelter, making blankets to raise money to help provide clean water in Africa, and more!
Middle School Retreat Each spring our middle school students attend a team building retreat. During the retreat, students spend time in Bible study and participating in team building exercises. They learn to work together as a team using each other’s gifts and talents. It is our prayer that each student will grow in Christ, and grow closer to their classmates.
Snowbird Each year the high school students start off the school year with our Leadership Retreat at Camp Snowbird in Andrews, NC. This time is set aside as a time of spiritual emphasis and bonding. Our retreat to Snowbird sets the atmosphere for a great school year.
